Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Don Giovanni

Дон Жуан

Tony Award–winning director Ivo van Hove makes his Met debut with a stirring new take on Mozart’s dark comedy. The staging sets the tale of deceit and damnation in a timeless architectural setting, with Yannick Nézet-Séguin bringing Mozart’s immortal score to life from the podium. Baritone Peter Mattei—an acclaimed interpreter of the title role—headlines as Don Giovanni alongside the Leporello of bass-baritone Gerald Finley; Soprano Ailyn Pérez as Donna Anna; mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard as Donna Elvira; and soprano Hera Hyesang Park as Zerlina. Tenor Ben Bliss completes the principal cast as Don Ottavio.
