The tragedy of William Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, is tehe most famous story of love at first sight. The romance staple makes its appearance in the Bolshoi Ballet’s Repertoire with Alexei Ratmansky’s passionate and emotional choreography, and Sergei Prokofiev’s famous score. This production was met with immediate success, with its vivid and powerful conflicts and the impassioned and consuming love.

The title roles are performed by Anna Nikulina and Alexander Volchkov, as the star-crossed lovers, Mikhail Lobukhin as Tybalt, and Andrey Bolotin as Mercutio.
