La Prima della Scala, the opening night of La Scala’s new season, has always been the grandest night for the world of Opera. Heads of state, world known celebrities and artists gather on December 7th in formal evening wear for this special event. While tickets in Milan may cost in excess of €2500, the experience is transmitted to the local cinema LIVE via satellite in glorious digital high definition and surround sound.

The 2019-2020 season opens with the diva of the 21st century, Anna Netrebko, starring in Tosca, one of Puccini’s most “cinematic” operas and often described as a “thriller”.
