"My introduction to art began in my hometown of Perm, within the walls of the Diaghilev Lyceum. My path continued at the Ural State University of Architecture and Art, majoring in clothing design, construction, and technology. There, I learned to turn ideas into real things, to think about how fabric can express emotions and time. The final stage was Sergei Viktorovich Sysoev's program 'The Mechanism of Creating Collections' at the A.N. Kosygin Moscow State University. Practical experience added depth. I worked for a long time in the teams of the brands Ushatáva and Namelazz, where we created unique products, from independent collections to collaborations mixing different styles and worlds. My journey with MARÉM began with the very first pieces – and we continue to build this story together. The collaboration with the Ural Opera has been especially valuable – it allows our costumes to speak to people in a huge hall full of magic. The most touching work for me is 'Hands', dedicated to the anniversary of Maya Plisetskaya. We tried to convey how she felt life, dance, and people: through the textures of fabrics, accents on necklines and collars, integrating the costumes into the music and movement.
