Russian Spanish scholar, theorist of literature, art critic, candidate of philological sciences, journalist and lecturer.
Since September 2022, she is the acting director of the Instituto Cervantes, also being head of its Cultural Department.
In 1987 she graduated from the Romance-Germanic department of the Faculty of Philology of Moscow State University. She taught the history of foreign literature at the Shchukin Theatre School. Associate Professor of the Department of Art History.
She made a major contribution to the development of Spanish studies and Russian-Spanish cultural relations. She worked in various Spanish-language media (El País, Tiempo, Diario 16, Página 30, TV 3). Author of more than a hundred publications in Russian on Spanish and Latin American cultures. As a journalist he collaborates with Colta.ru and other media.
