The Night before Christmas

“The Night Before Christmas” is the fifth from the 15 operas by Rimsky-Korsakov. Based on Gogol's narrative the 1890s, it bears all the features of the “grand imperial opera” with extensive folklore scenes, ensembles, and ballet divertissements.
