"The Idiot" in Krzysztof Warlikowski's sensational Salzburg production, based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky – a premiere as part of the Opera Club TheatreHD at GUM Cinema.

The special guest of the screening is Natalia Surnina, a musicologist, music critic, and press secretary of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic. Before the screening, we will talk about the figure of Mieczysław Weinberg, a composer with a complex destiny, about the music, the peculiarities of the literary adaptation of Dostoevsky's text, and how the production by director Krzysztof Warlikowski and conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla conquered the audience of one of the most demanding festivals.
