Andrey Zolotov-Jr.: Noisy Don
At the heart of the action are phenomenally reconstructed 16th-century Spanish court costumes, recreated from paintings and other documents. (The co-author of the costumes is Galya Solodovnikova). They are in no way comparable to theatrical costumes – they weigh 30 kg and are fastened not with zippers and snaps, but with numerous ribbons and laces (the details can be seen on the video projections). It takes six assistants armed with special ladders to put them on or take them off...
Katerina Novikova: "Chernyakov puts everything in its place."
Katerina Novikova, PhD in art history and head of the music programming department at the Kultura TV channel, had the privilege of personally speaking with director Dmitry Chernyakov and conductor Daniel Barenboim during the creation of this production and shared valuable memories with the audience about the development of this unique interpretation of Wagner's masterpiece.

Gioachino Rossini's opera "Otello" from the Peasaro Festival was presented by the tenor Dmitry Korchak, who performed the role of Rodrigo, and by the renowned Italian master and director of the production, Rosetta Cucchi. They discussed the unique features of Rossini's version and the original female perspective on the eternal tragedy.
