On the stage carved out of the rock, there are stylized roulette wheels shining like UFOs; the illusory world of "The Gambler" is multiplied in dozens of mirrors. Here, in Roulettenburg, the interests of a handful of people will collide, putting money and dignity on the line. The amazing soprano Asmik Grigoryan is the intrigue and driving force of the story, and the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of Timur Zangiev are the embodiment of Prokofiev's brilliant music.

Yaroslav Timofeev will immerse listeners in the details of the first musical interpretation of Dostoevsky's prose - at the same time a comedy of manners and a deep psychological drama; he will tell about all the subtleties, lyricism and philosophical depth of the author's concept.
